Overview

The Maple Leaf Cavan FC Scholarship recognizes a graduating player who best represents our club’s values of community, leadership, and character—with a strong emphasis on giving back.


Eligibility

  1. Graduating high school student (Grade 12)
  2. Past or current Cavan FC player
  3. Pursuing post-secondary education, apprenticeship, or equivalent


Selection Criteria

Community & Volunteer Involvement     

  • Involvement with Cavan FC (Game leader / referee, coaching, events, etc.)
  • Volunteer work in school or community
  • Demonstrated impact and consistency


Leadership Character

  • Leadership within team, school, or community
  • Attitude, respect, and sportsmanship
  • Role model behaviour


Soccer Involvement & Commitment

  • Years and level of participation
  • Commitment to development and team
